My oil paintings portray light-filled and colourful landscapes with character buildings. Growing up in rural Ontario and Nova Scotia gave me a deep love of  beautiful landscape and historic architecture, and has heavily influenced my paintings here in Victoria, BC. Each neighbourhood has it's own character and feel, and I try to capture that in my paintings of local scenes. I'm pleased to be able to say that my paintings are in private collections across Canada, The United States, Europe and Japan.
